Don't get me wrong, my first three months in Bombay have been tough but fun ..... but I was wondering, is this really the dirtiest city in the world? I can't think of a more littered, dusty and just plain filthy place anywhere else on earth - any other views?

Like China. You want cheap goods. you got it! no laws here! just dump and pollute. Things cost less that way! and pay 'em pennies a day too!

Building an infra-structure to handle these messes cost money and raises the cost of goods. Remember that!
