This summer I went to a 5-day bushcraft camp and I can't express how much I loved it. We did a lot of activities, learned a lot, and crafted a lot of tools. The photo is just a part of the things we did: a semi-permanent shelter built only with natural materials.

Nice day hike and carved a bowl.

I like to try and get practice with my camp blade. With this project the same knife was used to harvest a limb, saw and carve out this little double ring pendant.

Went into the bush with a friend today. Fire was lit with an empty bic lighter, charcloth, and dry leaves. Practiced feathersticks, and lit then up with the ferrorod while the fire was producing some nice coals to cook on.

This is the second knife I made. I had a multitool for 11 years which broke this April. I took the blade and saw and joined them together to give the blade a tang. Then I took some pine wood and made the handles. Drove two pins through for extra strength. Made the sheath from PVC pipe and added a velcro strap to carry it on my ankle. Although it can be worn around the neck. I also added a lanyard and a mini firesteel to the knife handle.

I was told that they made good knifes but I had other gear I liked!! now after buying it I most say I’m impressed!! They come so sharp and ready for action and the handle are not at all what I was thinking I was almost sure they would be a little slippery! —Mora garberg black blade (black) —mora kansbol (green.)

I went into the Appalachian Mountains and tried out a bunch of new things + saw a bunch of wildlife. Walked around 5 miles, started a fire using a ferro rod and all natural materials, and saw a bunch of wildlife. One my best experiences I’ve had, minus the heat and the bugs lol. It was my first time starting a fire with a ferro rod using all natural materials, and let me tell you it was the coolest thing. Im addicted to this stuff!
