some people don't like tone mapping because it takes the "realism" out of the photo, i think it adds depth and clarity. stunning photos. definitely one of my favorite photography techniques.

I beg to differ, even the human eye won't go to the volume of sharpness as these pix.
If I were a dragonfly per se, I might appreciate them, but I preffer what my brain was set up with instead of being over-clocked for crissake.

Any gain in detail is ruined by the distortions of color.Which of course, is what hdr does to the extreme.

Most of those were taken in Toronto. <3 my city. But as for the pics, there are a couple of nice ones, most though are way too over-processed. I like HDR photography, but this is more Photoshop than HDR.

the one thing I really dislike about these kind of pics is when there is running water.It does not lool like water it looks like fog.Very blurry and to me it ruins the pics.
