Yesterday North Korea fired dozens of artillery shells onto a South Korean island of Yeonpyeong. Two South Koreans are confirmed dead, dozens of injuries have been reported, a local news agency in South Korea is reporting that as many as two hundred artillery shells were fired. South Korea returned fire and dispatched fighter jets in response.

wel there goes the 50+ years of a cease fire. Not many people know this...well not many average Americans anyway.....but North and South Korea are still technically still at war they have just been in a cease fire for a VERY long time.

This isn't an isolated incident. There are regular exchanges of fire across the border. They just don't go attack on each others soil.

I'd be sorely tempted to drop a big one on the Norths head!!

we just bombed that enemy island, surely now we can stay here on this dock and take photos, i'm sure they won't do the same to us would they.
