I'm not a cat person, but dogs are useless in emergencies, too. I read an article a long time ago (so I can't link, duh) about tests that were done on dog owners and their dogs. For example, one owner would walk down the street with the dog and pretend to fall down and cry and moan.
The dog did nothing.
Another owned was walking in doors and a hidden person pushed a light weight cabinet on the person. The person pretended to be in great pain. The dog sniffed the owner and nothing more.
One time I read an article of how a woman fell down the stairs or something and couldn't get up, and said the dog tripped the phone and dialed 911 himself and started barking into the phone and the police came and helped the woman. My god, how stupid and naive are people?
Dogs and cats are both primitive animals. They're selfish by nature and are too stupid to realize other people can be in pain
