It's nice that they have ignored all the knowledge of physics, and previous proven building design to create something that is beyond understanding.
I can't even work out how it has stood for so long, although it may have been aged artificially, for artistic merit of course.

Hmm, because concrete is well known for it's strength under tension! I'd have slightly more confidence if the road way was at least flat or evenly curved. That fact that it isn't just makes it even worse.
