Women's Standing Urinals in China (6 pics)

This project started last month in Shaanxi Normal University and now women's standing urinals can be found in several shopping malls of large Chinese cities. Even the first unisex standing urinals have been installed there. Let's see how it works after the jump.

most men have no problem peeing in urinals even in public but 4 women it would be a problem besides using this cardboard kinda gross

The idea is to ease congestion in women's washrooms, and move towards more social acceptibility of uni-sex washrooms. When women go to the trouble of putting t/p down on the toilet seat, they tend to other hygiene issues like changing pads, etc. This leads to a simple urination that takes much longer than required.

1.4 billion people... everything is going to take longer.

I don't buy it. This will bring even more congestion to women's restrooms. There are so many factors as to why women take so long in the restroom and those aren't going away anytime soon.
