"In Germany, the amount of New York Yankees apparel straight up shocked me. A lot of US sports teams apparel are popular here, but the Yankees brand is worn the most by far. Coming from New York, the first three to four times I saw this, I'd say, 'Oh, you like the Yankees? I'm from there.' I was met by totally blank stares, like they didn't realize what teams they were even wearing."
