I have to wonder, are all picture series like this in the US, with the same points repeated in nearly every photo just in case you forgot what you just read.
The couple themselves are wonderful, showing a fantastic commitment to each other that is missing in so many relationships these days, even my own. It is the pointless repetition in the notes accompanying these pictures that does them the dis-service.
I truly hope the facts stated are generally more accurate than the fact that Gene was a bomber pilot in WW1?!?!?

He had to have been a bomber pilot in WW2, not WW1. If he's 90 years old in 2010, then he was born in 1920....WW1 ended in 1918--2 years before Gene was born.
