Every adrenaline junkie would enjoy a flight in the world's first glass-bottomed balloon. It made its first flight at the 2010 Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. The balloon with transparent floor was created by Christian Brown, who has been hot air pilot for 18 years, traveled around the world in a balloon with Sir Richard Branson and holds the tethered altitude world record at 10,000 feet (3,050 m). He says the experience of flying this new airship was terrifying. And the most important part is that it will be available to the public in the next year.

Seeing the bracing underneath the glass ruins the moment doesn't it?
