Welcome to the death of PC gaming.... Not because consoles are better but because they've had to dumb down pc games in order reprogram them to work on lesser systems to cross platform them in order to make a buck... After the SNES, there isn't a console in my house. 79

I remember playing pong on an original Atari console. It was the size of a large VCR and could only play three games.

Interesting, they left out vector graphics too, Vectrex system with it's own black and white screen with color overlays...intellivision, Colecovision. Nice article though, But Atari costing 826.00 inflation adjusted dollars? I don't think so..., There was also a "cutting edge" system in the 80's that each game cart was the size of a vcr tape, each game cost 200.00 at that time, can't think of the name of that system.
