Gave a new lease of life to 20 year old IKEA chest of drawers. My first attempt at upcycling something, it's a bit rough but I learned a few things along the way.
Found old lamp base in dumpster at my apartment. Cut old “Leap Frog” children’s globe in half and drilled a hole.
Neighbors moved a year ago and left these in the trash. Nothing a few pallets, some spray paint and extra tile can’t fix while isolating.
Spoons I carved from some Rainbow poplar scraps.
I upcycled this pillow case into a dress!!!
I made a summery garden bench out of my son’s old cot bed.
My mom made a handbag out of 2 old vinyl records. She crocheted them together after drilling holes in them.
Pop bottle flowers with baling wire stems and vinyl flooring centers.
I just finished this carbon steel chefsknife, made of a reclaimed circular sawblade. Handle made of marble Corian kitchen countertop scraps. Engraving done with a 10 watt laser and salt water etching.
Tried upcycling an old beach towel into a bucket hat but my pattern wasn’t to scale and it turned out too small. My pup is happy with his new hat though.
DIYed a soap dish out of unused takeout chopsticks, glue, and thread.
An old $3 goodwill coffee pot turned yoga sloth terrarium.
Had 3 pallets laying around in the garden and made a bench for potting plants for my girlfriend.
I broke out the crayons and restored an old drawing from when I was 9.
Any sports fans? Turned this basketball into a wallet - it's called "The Money Ball".
