Ex-USS New Orleans served in the United States Navy between 1968 and 1997. On July 10, 2010 the ship was used for high end multi-national target practice during Exercise RIMPAC 2010, being fired upon by Harpoon missiles, laser guided bombs and finally a barrage of naval gun fire from eight ships.

what you didn't knew is the fact that the ship was stripped down of harmful for the environment things and the fact that it was sunken is in fact a good action for the ocean's life. as in artificial reef and sea creature's home.
