Captain Brian Bews survived the CF-18 fighter jet crash that happened on Friday during a practice flight. It took place at Lethbridge County Airport as a preparation for the weekend air show in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

No no no, the plane is 18 not the pilot, CF18 that is. The pilot is 36 years old and the crash was caused by an engine failure when he was at low altitude practicing for an air show.
