Number 2 is just stupid. A person does not have a 1 in 662,000 chance of winning a gold medal. I'd say probably more than 99% of people in the world have EXACTLY ZERO chance of winning a medal (i.e. if you don't participate, you ain't getting sh*t). I suspect the actual fact here is that 1 out of every 662,000 people in the world have won a gold medal. Or something like that.

In fact most of them are just nonsense
