They took those pictures for evidence to sue thier employer{ said was safe} in case it collapsed on crossing. No way I'd cross! Just like Hakke said!

Something tells me this happened just as this engine tried to cross - I don't think any engineer would be crazy enough to actually try to cross that if that dip in the bridge was already there. Plus it looks like in all the pics the train hasn't moved, like they slammed on the breaks the second they felt the trestle start to give way. I think I would probably need new underwear if that happened while I was in the cab

the engineer may not see how bad the bridge is and the person taking the pics could very well just be a passer by or a local out for a walk.
