This is why I listened to bands like DK or Black Flag back then. I hated the hair band stuff. It's about the only good thing that came out of the Nirvana/ Seattle era, it finally put a nail in the coffin to all this stuff.

Yeah, the whole Seattle grunge era (blink of an eye) was one big wet blanket and a lot of them killed themselves off it was so depressing. But most of the big hair bands (half of those photos are of nobodies- don't know where they dug those up) are still alive and well and still playing today, so Seattle can suck it. 16
