I think some, if not most of these are made up.
Example: #16 ... Peter Freuchen suffered a frostbite in 1923. His foot was amputated in 1927. In a hospital.

#6 - If they couldn't build good tanks, at least they made them comfortable, the only notable equipment of tommycookers was a kettle. A good tea before getting hit by the 88mm cannon of a Tiger is always nice for sure.

#15- The euro didn't exist in 1997, much less 1797.
It was probably £50 which is £6,406.59 in today's currency.
If it was guineas, which were commonly used in the courts,
it was the equivalent of £6,406.59 today
