Favela for Dogs in Brazil (7 pics)

Up to 1,600 dogs and 200 cats can live in this dog favela.
It was build in the Southern city of Caxias do Sul by a humane organization.
It receives about $14,000 monthly but it's not enough to cover all the costs.

So how about trying to give the dogs up for adoption or selling a few to pay the bills?

they are all in leach ? i hope they have some "time off" so they arent stuck to a few square feets

Independiente de que sea triste, ste sistema es mucho mejor a que los perros estn abandonados en las calles, como ac en Chile.

Although I am glad to see that the people WANT to help the dog, I question the validity of help as the dogs are chained and not allowed to interact with each other. Well I assume that at the very least they have food and water and a form of shelter. It is better than nothing!
