Must be great !
As for what the use of this could be, well, could be special forces training. To have a bomb sniffing dog with you in new terrain is a great asset, and it would also function as an early warning for the team

I was thinking it was training at first too but if it was there would not be pictures to available to the public. Our armed forces think every thing has to be kept secret especially when it is an active op. or program. I think this guy has buddies on a chopper detail and just did this cuz they were bored. I think they should leave the dog out of it.
