After the long-awaited birth of a panda cub in Chiang Mai zoo (Bangkok), people in Thailand have gone totally panda-crazy. That’s why these five elephants painted as pandas were led before schoolchildren in Ayutthaya province on July 26. The main goal of this action was to show public that elephant is a symbolic animal of Thailand and not only pandas, but the elephants have their needs too.

13-storey apartment building under construction toppled in Shanghai on July 27. One of the workers was killed. Interesting, but the whole thing didn’t fall apart and simply fell on its side. The cause of the incident is still unknown.

Bugatti Stratos is not an average concept car. It's something really special and totally mind-blowing. French designer Bruno Delussu, who created these renders, was inspired by legendary cars such as the Bugatti Type 57, Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Mille Miglia and locomotive designs by Raymond Loewy. Classy!

Little fellow is already addicted to online games.

This collection of jewellery from designer Anna Schwamborn is made from the hair and cremated ashes of a dead people. What for? Because it will always remind people about their deceased loved ones. Do you think it’s a good idea? IMHO, it’s really weird and depressing.

This interesting competion took place in Brooklyn on Saturday. All exhibits are made of jelly and some works are really impressive and look sooo delicious :) By the way, the winners are Kandice Levero and Julia Greene with their Jell-O Jewelry collection.

OMG, what's this? Car and motorcycle mash-up? This motorcycle sidecar dubbed “Snaefell” was created by Francois Knorreck. He literally attached full-sized car (that consists of several different vehicles) to his Laverda motorcycle. He spent more than 10 years and about 15000 Euros to complete this work. Good job!

And they were very close.
The girl decided to make tattoo of her dead grandfather on her back.
Sweet. But. Why on the back? How is she going to look at this picture? In the mirror?
And I really feel sorry for her boyfriend. They won't practice some sex positions anymore

Japan is known for it's very narrow buildings. That's why this toilet in one of the Japanese pubs is no surprise.
I hope, people in Japan are not claustrophobic :)

It's just wrong.
Take a look at the second picture.

This rare frog which is called purple frog was discovered for the first time in 2003, in Western Ghats in India. It is the one and only place where this species can be found. The frog is really purple, has very small eyes, unusual nose and believed to be a relative of ancient frogs, that lived during the time of the dinosaurs.
Frankly, it looks rather strange, but sounds even worse! :)

Poor guys! My first thought was how do they manage to swim?
