Why on earth would she want to do that? And why is she on tv? And why is she posing amongst a bunch of men while not wearing a uniform?

And on an army scale she's about a 20, so no, she'll never see combat unless she wants to, and she'll get all the dick she wants from astonishingly fit young men. Eventually, she'll be the mistress of some 3- or 4-star general, and get a cushy job being arm-candy for the general in Washington DC.
Plus, she serves her country which may actually be a priority for her.
Sounds like a pretty good deal.
