They're Japanese to be specific. And yes, Japanese girls definitely need a lot of makeup after what happened to their genes due to all the radiation exposure from 2 atom bombs and numerous nuclear power plant explosions. On the other hand, Korean girls are gorgeous!

Looks wise Chinese, Japanese and Koreans all about equal when it comes to looks. There are hot and ugly girls in every country.

While it is easy to jeer and laugh at these girls for how "ugly" they are, why don't we look at the factors behind why they choose to transform their faces so drastically? Society places pressure on women to be beautiful. The value of a woman lies in her youth and beauty. Old or fat women do not even deserve camera attention. Is it wrong for these girls to feel the pressures of the society they were brought up in? While their makeup methods are drastic, they do no more wrong than their American counterparts who wear makeup for the same reasons - to look good according to the standards of the society they exist in. And in Asia, the societal beauty standards value big eyes and pale skin.
