I went from “Hey, she’s kinda cute” to “I must have her.”
After our date at the theatre, I told her, I wish I could enjoy a good American Burger. She took me to a place and ordered a Burger for me and a Ramen for her. It was the best burger of my life. She even paid for the food. I decided there that I would marry her someday and I’m not gonna mess it up.
I was out with a group of friends and this guy I didn’t really know that well yet—he was cute but I hadn’t really clocked him like that. Anyway, we were all walking back to our cars at night and I kinda slowed down to check something on my phone, and without making a big deal of it, he just subtly fell back to walk next to me.
Didn’t say anything like “oh I’ll protect you” or whatever, he just matched my pace and casually stayed there. That quiet awareness? The way he didn’t make it weird or performative? Instant hot.
Also, any man who listens with actual curiosity instead of waiting to talk… whew. It’s over for me.

She called out to me, ran over, and immediately started loving on my dog. She knew all of his spots and he was LOVING it. She had my dog in the palm of her hand. It was like he wasn’t even my dog anymore with how much she won him over. She looked up at me and smiled and that was it. I was officially crushing on her hard.
