If you're stupid enough to think guns will protect you, and that placing deadly force in the hands of every adult citizen will provide you with security and comfort, by all means, be the idiot you were born to be.

I would take great pride and it would give me great joy in watching all of the psychotic gun nuts end each others' lives. And if countless innocents would have to die in the process so be it. Ridding this corrupt DNA from the gene pool would be worth killing every person on Earth, could we achieve so lofty and lustrous a goal.

More guns will not protect you; they will only make you and anyone you care about more vulnerable to severe injury or death. More and more guns would eventually end the ability of law enforcement officers to do their jobs. No one would be safe anywhere. Vigilantes would fight against criminal gangs to decide the outcome of disputes. The criminal justice system as we know it would end, and a whole host of insuperable problems would present themselves, problems which shortsighted and simple minded gun fanatics are far too stupid, selfish, and paranoid to envision.
