Im counting around 50-60. Each ring is around a millimeter or 2.

Not where the bullet IS, but where the bullet trail starts. Since the bark doesn't count, I'm guessing Between 5 and 10.

I call bullsh*t. That's not what a bullet would look like after impacting a tree and penetrating to that depth. It's either a fake or something that got stuck into the growing tree, possibly a real, large caliber bullet.
The trail leading out could be the tree trying to expunge the foreign object. The dark oval shape could also be the tree's natural defense working to get it out.
