#93 yeah, on the back of German WW2 technology and scientists. Pretty sure a lot of that was made in metric, because the German's aren't redneck ludites.
...besides, where do they think the imperial system originated?

Werner von Braun was an overrated arrogant prick. It's his fault that the Apollo I astronauts were killed.

Well you always come off as an overrated arrogant prick, soo...
(There were a whole bevvy of German scientists 'liberated' for US research, not to mention heavy pushing from above for results, it's not like Werner was solely responsible. Also worth noting both aviation and automobile R&D claimed many more lives than the Apollo missions)

93 - Britain uses the Imperial system, so the argument is not valid.

93 - Britain uses the Imperial system, so the argument is not valid.
The British have been planning to adopt the metric system since the 1862 Select Committee on Weights and Measures recommended the conversion and the Weights and Measures Act of 1864 and the Weights and Measures (Metric System) Act of 1896 legalised the metric system.
WHAT ?
Since when?
BTW, if you're a Brit, does your local petrol station sell fuel by the gallon or by the litre?
I love the Brits; they do seem a bit confused, don't they?
.
93 - There are 2 types countries ? Those who use the metric system and those who went to the moon!
Oh, is that so?
In 2006,
three countries did
NOT
mainly use the metric system:
the United States, Burma, and Liberia.
It surely takes a special type ...
... to claim that Burma and Liberia went to the moon, but then there must be some who make others look smart ...
BTW, why did you never go back?
