I did No. 3 back in 1979, a new kid in my squadron had gotten a dear john letter and was running towards the side of the aircraft carrier deck, I tackled him and after he calmed down some, I took him down to the shop and told him to give me a day or two. I went all over the carrier asking for pictures of wives, girlfriends, hookers, any female didn't matter the color, shape or size. We filled a box that was about 4 shoe boxes. We put her picture in the middle of the the hoard. And then he wrote, "I'm so happy for the two of you, you deserve each other! I'm having a fantastic time in the Navy, we've visited so many ports and I've met so many women, I'm sorry to say, I can't really remember what you look like, can you please find the pictures of you and send the rest back? Thanks and good luck with the wedding." A few weeks later he got a letter from his dad, I guess the girls dad had came over pissed off, seems the girl was making herself sick from crying, broke it off with his best friend and wouldn't come out of her room. His dad couldn't believe he had done something so evil. I wrote the dad and asked him if he'd be any happier if I'd let his son jump into the ocean at night, and possible never been found? That his son wasn't the bad guy, I was. That girls that screw their boyfriends best friend just because he wasn't around were scum and deserved a lot worse. Not sure who posted the picture of the marine. but this was done first in the Navy in 1979!

I'm a fair certain that Herr Boss designed some of the SS and Hitler Youth dress uniforms, not the military field raiment.

I got bored at pic #56 and scrolled down for more interesting comments.
