I hate the above posters who post the same bullsh*t to merely to gain activity rewards.
If you had bothered to play the game, you'd report a problem in the second stage.
When using the metal detector in the plot of land that suggests taking a closer look, the detector becoms locked in place and will not return to the inventory, and it prevents other tools from being used.
Too bad, it looked like a decent game too.
