So they all enter an industry that thrives on publicity... live their lives (often) like a soap opera that gets played out in the public eye... do things that attract attention... then piss and moan that people crave updates on them? Granted, no one should be able to invade their personal privacy (like shoving a camera under the bathroom stall door) or do anything that invades the space of their kids or the like, but c'mon, that's like going into politics and whining because you hate negative opinions of your performance. The only thing worse than the attention they're getting, in what they do, is no attention at all.

everyone deserve a little privacy, not getting a camera or a microphone shoved in their face....but then again, your income is based upon publicity, you get it even if you dont ask for it...

Yeah their income is based on publicity, but with the money most of those guys make they can afford to go hulk on a dumb paparazzi now and then. I cant hate, I wouldn't mind making enough money to go ape sh*t on someone's thousand dollar camera then pay them off on scene. honestly it's what the camera men wanted anyway, those sh*t eating grins on their faces, i'd call it a symbiotic relationship. That being said I hate the paparazzi.

I read that the paparazzi "business" is in decline. People aren't buying as many of the tabloid magazines anymore, so the money being paid for photos by the wire agencies is way down. Simple economics takes over if the photographers can't make a living off their photos anymore. Stars can now manage their own brand and release their own photos on social media and preempt the paps. The public can get its celebrity gossip fix for free on twitter and instagram. The paparazzi are still out there to be sure, but I don't think it is as crazy as before.
