Lady Gaga is known for being a little crazy but this time around she did something crazy for charity. Lady Gaga decided to take the polar plunge at Lake Michigan while she was in Chicago. The water was so cold that her hair actually froze but it was worth it because all the money from the event went to helping the Special Olympics.

How much money did she raise? You raise money first, then you jump in the water. Just jumping in wont help any charity anywhere....

Same thing with the ice bucket. So many people did it 'for charity' without raising money for charity...
