So by "gotten away with" you mean served their time, and or paid a fine?

Someone needs to look up the word "heinous". These are generally misdemeanors or nonviolent and none are career criminals. Where are the truly heinous rapists, robbers, drug dealers, murderers, serial killers, dictators like Hitler, the people who enabled and carried out the holocaust?

Most are harmless. However, will smith leaving a guy blind isnt so harmless, and mark wahlberg was charged with attempted murder. Neither are a 'look the other way' offense.

Martha Stewart was NOT convicted of insider trading.....she pleaded to a charge of
lying to a federal agent. How that works is two federal badgemonkeys will show up at your house or office, one will ask questions while the other takes notes. Six months later two more fed badgemonkeys show up and ask the exact same questions. If you don't answer EXACTLY the same way you did the first time they will charge you with the faux crime of lying to a federal agent. Since of course YOU did not make notes of either encounter and THEY did.....even if they threw those notes out and created whatever notes they wanted.....you have absolutely NO DEFENSE against the charges. The badgeapes WILL perjure themselves to get you convicted. Once that happens they own your ass and can pressure you to do whatever they want you to do. Moral of the story.......if a monkey shows you a badge and says "I'd like to ask you some questions" your answer should ALWAYS be....of course. We will talk AT MY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE and he WILL TAPE RECORD THE ENCOUNTER. The criminals pinned to badges will leave skid marks as they try to depart.
