I can't even get a steak and lobster the way I want when I go out.
1. Steak - Just on the bloody side of medium rare.
2. Lobster - Just to the point of opaque, even slightly undercooked (as the standing heat will continue to cook it through).
I get a well cooked piece of meat and lobster so rubbery you could bounce it off the floor. You'd think I was asking the kitchen to turn water into wine.

If it was my tour group, the management would supply what I wanted, and for my tour group, that is their jobs If the venue is looking to make me comfortable, to a degree I get some of the requests, but turning the dressing room into a free-for-all-bar is moronic. I would have my own booze brought. But remember, entertainment venues make a killing on these events, most of the set up and supply to the artists are nothing compared to the profit line...or they wouldnt do it.....

this is common practice just to make sure the venue follows the rules. they do this as a test to make sure somone didn't just skim over the ryder and ignore a bunch of things. it's there way of just making sure the venue can follow instructions
