That's because we're used to Bryan Cranston. If Cusack had been Walter this entire time, we'd be saying, "That show would be shit if the goofy dad from Malcolm in the Middle got the part!". You can apply that to all these roles, actually.

At least do those visual comparisons with an age appropiate pic of the time... some of these show a star at thier current age now, not 15 or twenty years ago when the film was made.
