You know Hollywood has run out of ideas when they use comic book characters. Don't bother trying to do anything innovative, current, or modern... just re-hash a superhero.

I wouldn't say they've run out of ideas because of this. Hardly the proper proof for the point. You want proof they have no ideas? Look at the Saw series. Taking popular written fiction and putting it on film is a no brainer...

However, getting it done correctly? That's the hard part.

hopefully the movie has more action than the pictures show... when it comes out on tv and i finally watch it... maybe...

A short list of re-hashed ideas and/or characters in recent movies -

Ironman, Transformers, Blade, Punisher, the "switched" roles, Sex in the City, Avatar, King Kong, War of the Worlds, Jackass, The Simpsons Movie, Predators, the "Star Wars" prequels, Hulk, Fantastic 4, X-Men, Batman, Spiderman, Hellboy, James Bond and other "superspy" knock-offs, boy meets girl/boy loses girl, the screw-up at the job/life/wedding saves the day, Vietnam/Iraq/Somalia/save the hostage plot, overcomes the odds athlete plot, the "revenge" plot, the "info" movie, animals, cars, or aliens instead of humans with plots based on previous storylines.

Okay, not it makes sense.... Jeremy Renner's cameo in Thor with the bow and arrow. I was wondering why someone of his status was doing that.
Whey did they shorten Scarlet's hair???? Such a shame.
