Get real, if you read for instance Farsi (in fact, Farsi is the name of the Persian/Iranian language), the guy has probably multi-ethnic background even though he is coming from one country: people with pure Persian origin are not often to find after Arabian invasion, mongols, Indian migration...
The same holds for Germans, Greeks or Italians. The concept of one Nation is an artificial one.
From this perspective the US America have the best concept: join us if you like to, independent of your race/color or religion. The rules are simple: eat or be eaten.... quiet progressive.
