Andrei Sergeyevich Arshavin is a Russian football forward who currently plays for Arsenal of the English Premier League and the Russian national team.
The 2006 Russian footballer of the year is a versatile second striker who can also play as an attacking midfielder and winger. He gained international attention during his performance at the Euro 2008. Arshavin has been capped 43 times for the Russian national team since 2002.
