I think this was designed so that the people who made it and the people who use it have a lot of fun, but there is no real use for the military whatsoever. It doesnt offer the user any protection. This would be more beneficial for search and rescue than the military.
As I said, I think the military bought this to have some fun in the dunes, nuff said. (worth it too)

I would like to know what cools the track radiators in the snow. Even driving a snowmobile on ice can have drastic performance reductions. oh well America tax dollars at wok.
