the road is dangerous because it could happen landslide or debris flow after heavy rain. But now the situation is getting better. New high way has been built and some is still being built.

Where is it located ? i remember some roads in Yunnan (to Lugu Lake) or in Anhui (huangshan) that had the same feeling.
I love to travel these roads. The drivers reactions may seem strange for european people, but they are actually pay more attention to their driving than the people here, in France, who will not watch out for anything as long they respect the legal speed...
