One American family has turned a 1998' Greyhound Eagle Bus into a house on wheels. It took them 5 years to build it.

Total cost would be nice to know.
I'd probably be pretty pissed if a neighbor decided to do that much work on my street. That must have taken a long time and been ridiculously noisy.

Could not do that in front of your house in California. Where I live the City won't allow that. Nice project, hope they are truly happy with that and the fuel economy.
