I trust it was an authorized test drive, not a joy ride.

Lambo held up pretty well....if that where a Chevy Aveo....dead mechanic.

Mechanic may still get it in the end though.

after that shop pays it's "new" insurance premiums, they gonna have to raise all thier prices just to stay in business.

or sue the mechanic for gross negligence.

My first reaction would be to rip a piece of the front bumper and beat the mechanic with it.
I most definitely wouldn't accept the Lambo to be repaired. It's a high performance vehicle and you never know what part will give and end up dead.

On a second thought, I would still beat the crap out of that mechanic.

Technicians work on cars like this not mechanics.
Techs always have to test a car after certain work was done and I guarantee you he was authorized to drive the car.

I worked in the car biz from plymouth to porsche and exotic and the urge to joy ride fades after you drive all of the dream cars and the techs feel the same way.

hey, it was raining , the pole came out of nowhere, the brakes were faulty, oh wait ..no the brakes were fine , I just replaced them before the test-drive. It was that damn dog that came out of nowhere...and the pole.
