Adam Islam crashed his Toyota MR2 which had been rebodied to look like a Ferrari F430, and he claimed £29,000 to repair the damage. Once the claim was filed it was quickly discovered to be a false claim, and authorities went after him for insurance fraud.
A 15-year-old resident of Zhengzhou, China, was recently heading home from school on his scooter when he accidentally hit a parked Bentley. When he found out that the replacement mirror he broke would cost 40,000 yuan ($5,800) he couldn't help but break down into tears.
