Someone recently noticed 1,000 abandoned baby chicks in Peterborough, England. They immediately contacted the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals who said they were shocked and they had never seen anything like it. Unfortunately some of the birds were in rough shape when they arrived so they had to be put to sleep. An investigation has since been launched to find out who dumped the birds in the field.
According to the Brazilian Department of Corrections a bird was caught trying to smuggle items to prisoners inside the facility. Guards noticed prisoners trying to catch pigeons who appeared to be wearing something and upon further inspection that discovered that the bird was wearing a vest with a mobile phone in it.
Federico Babina recently released a new project called Archiatric. The unique project depicts 16 different conditions by comparing them to architecture that needs to be repaired. The illustrations are abstract and haunting but also inspirational.
A robot policeman is now on duty at one of the train stations in China and he's always happy to help citizens. The robot has been helping people with train schedules and he also scans people's faces just in case he needs to report something.
