When Timmy Joe Elzinga was woken up in the middle of the night by his two year old son, he decided to take a look out the window. What he saw was a natural phenomenon known as light pillars illuminating the sky in northern Ontario. Kristi Loyall, from El Reno, Oklahoma was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer last year which caused her to have her leg amputated below the knee. Kristi has been making light of the situation by taking the amputated leg with her wherever she goes, and now the leg even has its very own Instagram account.

Nick Stafford of Virginia, USA, became frustrated with the DMV when he was trying to get information regarding where he should register his son's car. Nick had to make several inconvenient phone calls, and he still wasn't able to get an answer. So when the time came to pay the sales tax on two new cars he purchased, he decided to pay it using 300,000 pennies.
