South African-born photographer John Thackwray spent six years photographing one thousand different bedrooms from 50 different countries for a photo series called My Room Project. It started out as a fun project he did with his friends, and it turned into something that took him all around the world.
Gabi Shull from Missouri had to have part of her leg amputated due to cancer when she was only 9 years old. But Gabi hasn't let the loss of her leg slow her down one bit. With the help of a prosthetic she's been able to continue doing ballet, and she's the best she's ever been.
Mike Jivanjee rescued a tiny gosling drowning in Lake Oswego in Oregon and in the process he made a new best friend for life. He took her home and later tried to release her, but she quickly fell in love with him and she hasn't left his side for two whole years.
