On April 17 a devastating earthquake of magnitude 7.8 hit Ecuador and it will never be the same. The earthquake injured over 600 people and it claimed the lives of 75 people. President Rafael Correa has declared a state of emergency and it's been estimated that it will take $300 million to repair the damage that was done.

The 26 meter yacht named Positive Energy recently went down in flames outside of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. The boat was parked next to a fuel dock so the authorities had to tow it away before they could continue to fight the fire. Unfortunately they weren't able to save the multi-million dollar boat.

A few weeks ago police in the city of Granada, Spain received a call about a dog that was being mistreated. When they found the dog he was nothing but skin and bones until he found some new owners that give him all the love and food he needs.
