In north-western Canada near Whitehorse you will find the Takhini Hot Springs. Every February the management that runs the springs holds a contest to see who can create the best frozen hairdo and this year the participants stepped up their game.

At the intersection of Riverside Drive and Lexington Avenue in Elkhart, there’s a unique block of concrete with dozens of teeth in it. The block was created by deceased dentist Dr. Joseph Stamp. He created the landmark as a way to pay tribute to his dog and it's become quite the popular attraction for the locals.
