According to today’s regulators and bureaucrats, those of us who were kids in the 60’s, 70’s and early 80’s probably shouldn’t have survived, because our baby cots were covered with brightly coloured lead-based paint which was promptly chewed and licked. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, or latches on doors or cabinets and it was fine to play with pans.

When we rode our bikes, we wore no helmets, just flip-flops and fluorescent ’spokey dokey’s’ on our wheels. As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or airbags - riding in the passenger seat was a treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle and it tasted the same.

We ate chips, bread and butter pudding and drank fizzy juice with sugar in it, but we were never overweight because we were always outside playing.

Bosses of a publishing firm are trying to work out why no one noticed that one of their employees had been sitting dead at his desk for FIVE DAYS before anyone asked if he was feeling okay.

George Turklebaum, 51, who had been employed as a proof-reader at a New York firm for 30 years, had a heart attack in the open-plan office he shared with 23 other workers. He quietly passed away on Monday, but nobody noticed until Saturday morning when an office cleaner asked why he was still working during the weekend.

But each time getting on a beach so it would be desirable to receive all on a maximum.
In here that also traps danger. Be not overzealous.

It is not the first similar cafe. In Budapest in an opening day in it journalists have been invited. Pay attention that the next platform directly in the air is playing musicians.

Such photos always fascinate me. I mean the color photos from the past, the older the better. These ones is no exception. We got used to see only black and white photos from the World War 2 - the color photography was very expensive at that times and actually was not widely implemented, and especially usually nobody took the expensive equipment to the battlefront. Still there are some color photos from the times where our grandfathers were young, like 70 years ago.

If I said I can show you a town that is continually burning, you would think I was crazy. However, that has been the case of Centralia, Pennsylvania, which is located in the Anthracite-rich mountains of Columbia County. Although the town itself is not burning, what is located under it is burning: coal.

Faith, a bipedal female dog, was born in December 2002 with only three legs; two fully-developed hind legs and a deformed front leg, which was amputated when she was 7 months old after it began to atrophy. Her owner, Jude Stringfellow, adopted Faith when the mother dog was found trying to smother the deformed puppy-- her son rescued the puppy and brought her home. Many people, including veterinarians, advised that Faith be euthanized. Instead, using a spoon with peanut butter as an incentive, Jude taught Faith to hop but Faith decided on her own to walk; the family's corgi would bark at Faith from another room, or nip her heels to urge her to walk.

General Motors doesn’t have a “help line” for people who don’t know how to drive, because people don’t buy cars the way they buy computers - but imagine if they did…

HELPLINE: “General Motors Helpline, how can I help you?”

CUSTOMER: “I got in my car and closed the door, and nothing happened!”

HELPLINE: “Did you put the key in the ignition and turn it?”

CUSTOMER: “What’s an ignition?”

Prince Charles was reversing his Land Rover out of the garage when he ran over the Queen’s favorite corgi. He got out and found the corgi dead, squashed to a pulp. Just then a Genie popped up and said “Your highness I can give you one wish. What would you like?”

The Prince said “This is mummy’s favorite dog. Can you bring it back to life?”.

So the Genie said “Let’s have a look at the dog.”
“Oh no, nothing can be done with this dog, you ran over it with the Land Rover there is too much damage to the dog … nothing can be done”.

Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker were having one of their little father and son chats… light sabers drawn and sparks flying.

Vader pinned Luke against a bulkhead and glared into his face, “I know what you’re getting for Christmas, Luke,” he said, “Ohhh, yes! I know!”

Luke fought himself free and jumped to a higher platform just out of Vader’s reach.
