There are nooks and crannies of enthusiasm which make this perversion we have with cars seem quaint. Kingda Ka is a roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey, USA. At its opening on May 21, 2005, it became the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world, claiming the title from Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point. The train is launched by a hydraulic launch mechanism to 128 miles per hour (206 km/h) in 3.5 seconds. At the end of the launch track, the train climbs the main top hat tower reaching a height of 456 feet (139.5 m). Due to aviation safety concerns, the tower is equipped with three dual strobes: 2 mid-way up, and one on the top.

However, green roofs or sod roofs in Northern Scandinavia have been around for centuries. The modern "trend" started when green roofs were developed in Germany in the 1960s, and have since spread to many countries. Strokkur (Icelandic for "churn") is a geyser in the geothermic region beside the Hvítá River in Iceland. Strokkur is only a few meters away from Geysir. However, unlike Geysir which erupts infrequently and may be dormant for years at a time, Strokkur erupts very reliably every 5-10 minutes, hurling boiling water to heights of up to 20 metres (70ft) towards the sky.

The DeLorean DMC-12 is a sports car that was manufactured by the DeLorean Motor Company for the American market in 1981 and 1982 in Northern Ireland. It is most commonly known simply as the DeLorean, as it was the only model ever produced by the company. The DMC-12 featured gull-wing doors with a fiberglass "underbody", to which non-structural brushed stainless steel panels were affixed. A DeLorean was featured as a home-made time machine in the Back to the Future trilogy.

This bus is the result of combining two buses. The interior is fully wood paneled including the driver's position. It has several sleeping areas, front and rear, with a full kitchen. Aerocoach made streamlined inter-city buses in Chicago from 1940 through the early 1950s. Early coaches were distinctive, later examples looked like other makers 1950s buses. Trailways and Gray Line used Aerocoaches in the 1940s and 1950s.
