Thats pretty impressive, might have been better and easier just to let the tyres right down and maybe use a winch.

In stead of using shovels and filling up a bag.. why not use a large steel pin and slam into the sand with a hammer? You know.. an anchor in the sand? Like tents?

Looks like a great solution for muddy environment. Not so in loose sand I think
